    What is the cancellation policy for the Crystal Palace restaurant in Magic Kingdom? Is my card charged at all upon making restaurant reservation online or is the card only used to hold the reservation?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian! Because I’m a huuuuuuge Eeyore fan, The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park holds a special place in my heart as the one place where I can meet my favourite donkey… and the puffed french toast at breakfast is really delicious, too! 

    At this restaurant, your credit card is only used to guarantee your party’s Disney dining reservation. That means that this credit card will only be charged if you don’t cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period and your party is a “no show” for your reservation. Based on my experience, the cancellation period for The Crystal Palace is 24 hours before your reservation, but please refer to the email that you’ll receive once you make your reservation in order to confirm its cancellation guidelines.
