What is the cancellation policy when booking a trip with DVC points on the Disney Cruise Line?

Howdy Shannon!  Thanks so much for your question! You can find the answer on the Member website under Changing or Cancelling Reservations. Below you will find some of the information but please visit the website or contact Member Services to ensure you have all needed information. (We went on a Disney Cruise 3 years ago and cannot wait to go on another one - it was wonderful!!)

Below are the guidelines for categories 4-11 as a sample but, again, please be sure you have the information pertinent to the cruise you are considering.

All Sailings Less Than 10 Nights:
Cancelling 75 or more days before the sailing date: All Reservation Points will be returned to the Use Year in which the reservation falls or 100% of the cash payment is returned.
Cancelling 74 to 45 days before the sailing date: 20% of Reservation Points or 20% of the cash payment made.
Cancelling 44 to 30 days before the sailing date: 50% of Reservation Points or 50% of the cash payment made.
Cancelling 29 to 15 days before the sailing date: 75% of Reservation Points or 75% of the cash payment made.
Cancelling 14 or less days before the sailing date: All Reservation Points or all of the cash payment made will be forfeited.

Please Note: A change to a reservation is considered a cancellation. Any change to a Disney Cruise Line reservation requires an additional non-refundable $95. 1 Reservation Point is equals 1 allotted Vacation Point. Cancellation guidelines are subject to change without notice. Returned Reservation Points will be deposited into the Use Year in which the cancelled reservation falls. Returned Reservation Points may not be used for DVC Resort reservations or for World Passport Collection exchanges and will expire at the end of your Use Year. Returned Reservation Points cannot be banked.

If you need any further information, please let me know. Enjoy your time as you plan your next magical DVC vacation!!
