Ahoy there, Andrea! Welcome aboard planDisney! Looks like you and your crew are in the final weeks of waiting for your ship to come in and your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just on the horizon! Prepare to weigh anchor and cast off!
Ah, the
Beverage Tasting Seminars! What an awesome experience offered for the adults on each sailing! While the kiddos (whether yours or your fellow Guests') are off having the time of their lives at
Vibe,
Edge,
Disney's Oceaneer Club, or
"it's a small world" nursery!, these seminars are a great way to decompress and have some
Onboard Fun! No matter which you choose it's always an engaging presentation, and the beverage team aboard each of the ships really knows their stuff! My wife and have particularly fond memories of the Amari Tasting, Tequila and Cachaca Tasting, and Cognac Tasting - but the Whiskey, Wine, Rum, and other tastings are great as well!
As you're probably aware, these Beverage Tastings fill up quickly! If you think you'll be changing plans, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the reserved experience. Guests will be charged the full price if cancellation falls within 24 hours before the event start time. This is different from
Port Adventures and some other activities that must be canceled at least three days before your embarkation date. I always suggest looking at the
Onboard Activities information and reading the details of the "read more" section if present, just to be sure!
So whether you're anticipating having fun elsewhere on the ship, or just had a change of plans, you have a bit of leeway for your mind to change like the tides - but not too much - so it's best to make your final decisions soon! Hopefully, you've already completed your
Online Check-In process, and have your
packing list ready to go, too!
What, you don't pack 20-ish days before you leave? That's just me?
In any case, I hope that helps you and your crew make adjustments to your plans, Andrea! Speaking of plans, don't forget to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you set sail - it'll help you keep track of all the plans you've made, plans you WANT to make, and plans that you may just fall into - all great parts of being on a Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as your sailing approaches, please drop us another line here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
