    what is cancellation policy

    Hiya, Ted!

Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so very glad that you stopped by with your question. While I am hoping that your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth is able to take place as planned, I also understand that plans change all the time. Should you need to modify or cancel your upcoming trip, here is all you need to know about the policies that Walt Disney World Resort has in place.

If your reservation is a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, you can cancel up to 30 days prior to your arrival and receive a full refund. This refund will include the deposit you made and any additional payments you made toward your package. Cancellations 29-2 days before your vacation will be refunded for any payments made, minus the initial deposit. One-day or no-show cancellations will be responsible for the full amount due. Changes to your vacation package follow similar policies, with no change fees 30 days or more ahead of your trip. Should you make changes to your vacation package less than 30 days before you arrive, you may be assessed a change fee.

Room-only reservations (accommodations booked without tickets) can be canceled five or more days in advice with no fees. Less than five days prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit paid.

You can make changes to, or cancel Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages online 30 days prior. You can do this through your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website. Select the My Plans option from the drop-down menu. Choose the Change Reservation link next to your resort hotel details. You can choose to modify or cancel the reservation on the next page. If your trip is less than 30 days away you will need to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Room only reservations can be modified online up to five days before your vacation.

We hope to see ya real soon!
