    Cancellation fees - we are booking 30 days in advance (Old Key West Resort, and park hopper 3 days tickets) the information provided on website is not clear what would be the specific fees if we cancel 30 days before (travel dates June 10 to 14)

    Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about vacation packages to Walt Disney World Resort. I will be happy to try and clear things up for you so you can better prepare for your upcoming trip. 

    The cancellation policy for vacations booked with the Walt Disney Travel Company for vacation packages to Walt Disney World Resort is fairly flexible. Per the terms and conditions, all vacation packages require a $200.00 deposit to hold the packages until the final payment is due 30 days before the date of arrival. Any cancelation made before the final payment is due would get the full amount refunded back. Any cancelation made between days 2-29 would have a $200.00 cancelation fee applied as well as any cancelation fees of any third party. Any cancellation made 1 day or less from the arrival date will forfeit the total amount and no refund will be given. Just note that prices for the deposit are subject to change without notice. 

    There are considerable costs when planning a vacation to Walt Disney World, especially when international travel is concerned. I would highly recommend you also look into travel insurance that may help to offset costs in the event you have travel issues or you need to cancel your vacation and may experience a loss in funds. Make sure to get a few quotes on travel insurance and read through the policies to make a decision on which one is right for your situation.
