What is the cancellation fee for Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel? I planning to travel in September 2022.

Hiya Anayeli! Magic and wonder await at the Disneyland Resort, and you are planning a visit during one of my favorite months to be in the parks! While we don't have an exact date quite yet, you are arriving just about the time that happy haunts and pumpkins arrive on Main Street, U.S.A. for Halloween Time!

I'm sending some pixie dust your way so that you won't have to cancel your upcoming trip to Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel! You are going to love the 1920s retro beach boardwalk theming, and there's even a very cute photo op in the lobby with Goofy in his swim trunks! When it comes to cancellation policies, it depends on if you have a hotel room-only reservation or if you've booked a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package that includes theme park tickets in addition to your hotel room reservation. Let's take a look at both!

For a hotel-room-only reservation, cancellations would need to be made at least 5 days ahead of arrival or be subject to a fee equivalent to the first night's room rate plus any taxes and fees. If you have a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package booked through the Disneyland website, there are a few dates to be aware of in your planning. While cancellation and refund policies are always subject to change, currently, a full refund is available for any cancellations made more than 30 days ahead of arrival. For cancellations within 5 to 29 days before arrival, you would receive a refund of your amount paid minus a cancellation fee, which is currently $200 per package, subject to change. If you are within 4 days or less of your arrival, the full price of the package is nonrefundable so you would not receive any kind of refund.

Anayeli, you are going to love staying in the magic of a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Did you know you can even mobile order a meal from select restaurants in Downtown Disney District to be delivered directly to your hotel? You'll see signs throughout the hotel with a QR code that will link to a detailed How-To, but as one of the perks of being a Disneyland Hotel Guest, you can order food and opt to either pick up or have it delivered to your hotel lobby! So if you have a craving for Naples Ristorante e Bar, Tortilla Jo's, or Uva Bar & Cafe, order up!

Anayeli, you're in for quite a treat (and I'm sure lots of those treats will be pumpkin-flavored!) and some forever memory making. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Never stop dreaming,
