Hiya Alberto! Welcome to planDisney!
Ah, what a magical time to plan a trip to the Disneyland Resort! I truly believe that the planning process and anticipation are part of the fun! However, things come up. Life happens. Weather happens. Sometimes Guests need to change their plans. Hakuna Matata, right?
If you need to cancel your scheduled park day for any reason, you can simply make a new park reservation for a date that works better for you, as long as your tickets do not expire before your new date. Here's what you should do. First, check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to confirm that the date you'd like to switch to is available. Then, hop over to the
Disneyland Resort Website and log into your My Disneyland Account. On the main menu, hover over the "My Disneyland" icon, then select "Ticket and Reservation Details." Find the theme park reservation you'd like to change and choose "Cancel." Confirm this change, then
make a new theme park reservation for the day of your choice.
Tickets at the Disneyland Resort are tiered, so if the date you select is within a higher tier, you will be required to pay the additional price difference. Disneyland Resort tickets are nonrefundable, so finding a new time to visit is the best option for you!
Alberto, I know you live in sunny California, but I wouldn't let the rain or weather deter you from visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. In my experience, rainy days are the best Disney days! You may find shorter wait times for some of the most popular attractions! There are always indoor dining locations where you can find a reprieve from rain or a little cold, enjoying a delicious meal you may otherwise skip. As Queen Elsa says, "The cold never bothered me anyway!"
I hope you're able to find the perfect day to visit the Disneyland Resort, Alberto! Say hi to Mickey for me!
