Hello, Sofia!
It’s great to be planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, isn’t it? Let’s go over the possible ways to purchase Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets.
When purchasing theme park tickets directly from Disney, you may either choose tickets only or a
Vacation Package that combines a hotel reservation and ticket purchase in one package line item. While theme park tickets are normally
nonrefundable, tickets included with a Vacation Package may be canceled and refunded according to the terms and conditions indicated at the time of booking and included in a confirmation email. When a Vacation Package is canceled, both the hotel reservation and the theme park tickets are canceled.
Just in case, it’s worth double-checking a few things to determine how tickets were purchased. Tickets purchased separately will often have a
theme park reservation associated with them. If you see reservations listed on the “
My Theme Park Reservations” page, you likely still have tickets available to enjoy. Likewise, if you find tickets displayed on the “Tickets and Passes” screen of the
Disneyland mobile app and reservations show up in the “Future Plans” screen, you are cleared for entry. If you don’t find tickets and reservations in these places, you may wish to place a call to the
Vacation Packages phone line to verify the cancellation status.
Tony’s Tip: If you happen to find yourself in a position of needing to re-purchase theme park tickets but are worried about finding theme park reservations, there’s still hope! My advice is to keep checking the
theme park availability calendar. Guest plans often change. When others reschedule their park reservations, the canceled reservations become available. Especially the day or two before a particular date on the calendar, there can be a lot of movement in theme park availability. With a little faith, trust, and some pixie dust, I hope you find the opportunities you are looking for to visit the Disneyland Resort.
