I canceled my reservation to Disneyland so I could book a new date. Will it go back to original form of payment?

Hey there, Rachel! Thanks so much for dropping by planDisney to ask us about your theme park ticket reservation.

I'm sorry to hear that you had to reschedule your Disneyland Resort trip, but sounds like you have a new plan! A theme park ticket reservation is linked to your ticket and both are required for entry into either park. However, canceling a reservation does not cancel your ticket. Tickets are non-refundable. This means you can go back into your Disney account and make a new theme park ticket reservation for your new date with that same ticket. If it was a 1-day ticket that is a tiered ticket and your new date is for a higher tiered ticket, you will need to upgrade the ticket. Ticket upgrades can be done in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. If you think you may need to upgrade, I recommend reaching out to Ticket Services who will be able to guide you with your specific questions.

It looks like your rescheduled date may be happening this week, so be sure to visit the newly imagined Mickey's Toontown! I absolutely love Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and the queue is just as fantastic as the attraction. I cannot wait for the perfect spring day to take my quick-service meal to one of the grassy areas in Toontown for a little picnic with or without my kids!

Rachel, I hope this information is helpful. Be sure to stop by again if you have any other questions for us!
