I canceled a package for my in laws and their park reservations are still showing up with in our plans on my Disney experience. Do I need to cancel park reservations separately or is there just a delay in it being removed from our plans? Thanks!

    Hi Jamie,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your question about Theme Park Reservations.  I am so sorry to hear that you have had to cancel a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation package for your in-laws, hopefully they will be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort again soon.

Unfortunately, over the past year and a half I have had to cancel my fair share of Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Packages and I was shocked to see that the first time I canceled a trip our Theme Park Reservations were still showing up in My Disney Experience.  Typically, the reservations will drop off within a few days of canceling your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, but if for some reason they don't, you should be able to easily go in and cancel the reservations.  If you are linked to your in-laws, be sure to only cancel their Theme Park Reservations, not your whole party if you are still traveling at the same time they were supposed to be traveling.

Sending some extra Pixie Dust to you and your in-laws, Jamie.  Canceling a vacation is never easy, hopefully they will be back at the "Most Magical Place on Earth" sooner rather than later!  If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help with your vacation planning.
