Hi Renee,
Welcome to planDisney!
Seeing how soon your arrival date is made me smile! Your countdown to the magic has begun! Although you should see each dining location's cancellation policy in your reservation confirmation emails, you can review this
cancellation guidance as well. The general rule to remember is to cancel two hours or more prior to the reservation time, but there are different policies at certain locations. And, of course, policies and procedures could change, so I also advise to cancel as soon as you realize that you cannot make it or no longer need the reservation.
Hopefully you were able to secure every reservation that you wanted. If not, do not lose hope! We have been able to secure reservations during our trips in the past, some even opened up the day prior. So, keep an eye out. From time to time, I will use a dining reservation tool online to send a notification if a reservation becomes available.
If you have not already added it, I also hope you considered one of the
Disney Dining Plans. The Disney Dining Plan has been a good value for my family. If you choose to do a dining plan, just remember that your meals are calculated
per night of stay. I always add up our total number of meals and then count our dining reservations to be sure we have counted correctly.
Renee, I can imagine that you have started packing! Remember to plan at least one relaxing day at the resort. And be sure to have the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded. We always track our Disney PhotoPass® Service photos in the mobile app and download them with
Memory Maker. Sending a wish to the Evening Star hoping that your dining reservations are secured and everything goes smoothly on your arrival date!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
