Hey Howdy Hey, Kathy!
Welcome to the planDisney Roundup. It’s sad to hear that you may need to cancel your upcoming resort stay, but I’m still holding on to the hope that you won’t need to. Let’s still prepare you, though, just in case.
At the moment, a
room-only reservation can be canceled up to 8 days before your arrival date without penalty. From 0-7 days, you will lose the cost of a one-night stay (which is the deposit). Please be sure to keep those dates in mind, so that you don’t miss your cancellation window. If you do need to cancel your room-only reservation, or modify your reservation, please
call the Walt Disney World Reservations line. A Cast Member will be able to go over the details with you and complete that cancellation for you.
Kathy, I hope that you won’t have to cancel and that you will find your way to
Walt Disney World next month. However, I understand that life happens and sometimes we have to just keep swimming. When you're ready to float and book that vacation, I recommend starting the process by taking a look at all the
special offers. There are so many great ways to save when visiting, so you can make all your Walt Disney World dreams a reality! Savings on my room, tickets, or even a
dining plan simply means more souvenirs to bring back home with me!
Plus, even if you have to postpone your visit, there’s always something new to experience so that’s a win. Maybe even one of
these new attractions will be open to experience when you rebook. There’s magic around the corner for you, Kathy, I’m sure of it! Hakuna Matata, you still have time to cancel and can always rebook a new visit. I hope you won’t have to wait too long to visit though!
In the meantime, I hope this helps ease your worries, and when you're ready to add all the pixie-dusted details, visit us here at
planDisney. I know we all will be more than willing to share a list of our must-dos with you so that you can have a magical visit.
Ride like the wind,
Shantel
