Hi there Martha, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by en route to your magical vacation.
2022 is going to be an incredible year to visit Walt Disney World. The
50th-anniversary celebration will still be taking place, and from
new attractions to
dazzling nighttime spectaculars, there's more to zip-a-dee-do than ever before!
If you have
expired, but wholly unused theme park tickets, you can use them for your spring trip, but you'll need to
call Disney to upgrade them so they're valid for new dates. Be sure to make
theme park reservations after modifying your tickets.
Since you already have theme park tickets, I recommend booking a room-only reservation at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection. After paying an initial deposit equivalent to a one-night stay, you can cancel up to five days before check-in, and
cover the remaining balance upon arrival. A
vacation package that bundles your hotel room and theme park tickets requires a $200 deposit that is fully refundable as long as you cancel at least 30 days before your check-in date. These packages require the purchase of tickets, and it doesn't sound like you need these.
I hope this makes sense, Martha. Best wishes for booking your Walt Disney World vacation, and if there's anything else we at planDisney can help you with, don't hesitate to reach out again. My panelist pals and I love to offer advice on
choosing the best resort for your family. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we can't wait to see ya real soon!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
