Hi there, Orlyn!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
While we always hope travel plans will go off without a hitch, sometimes circumstances can come along that require us to adjust or cancel our plans. It's always good to know the cancellation policy in case the need arises.
At this time, Guests who book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation are eligible for a full refund if the trip is canceled up to 30 days before the check-in date. Guests who cancel within 2 to 29 days will receive a refund minus the $200 cancellation fee. If the trip is canceled less than two days in advance, or for no-shows, the Guest will be responsible for the total cost of the vacation package. Refunds will be in accordance with the payment method used to pay for the vacation, and will be made through the Guest's travel agent if the payment was made by them.
For room-only reservations, Guests must notify Walt Disney World of the cancellation at least 5 days prior to arrival to receive a full refund of the deposit.
Select reservations can be canceled online, and will have a "Cancel or Modify Reservation" link in your
My Disney Experience account. If you don't have access to a cancellation link, you'll need to speak to a Cast Member at (407) 934-7639 for assistance with your reservation cancellation or modification.
If you
do need to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, remember to also cancel any
dining reservations so as not to be charged as a "no-show".
I hope this helps, and that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World soon!
