Hey there, Renee! It's always the best day ever when I get to welcome a fellow Michigander to planDisney, and I'll be happy to share some tips on booking a magical
fireworks cruise during your trip to
Walt Disney World this fall. Let's get to it!
The fireworks cruises at
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT are a wonderful way to wrap up your Disney day. We booked one for the first time last year to celebrate our youngest daughter's 16th birthday, and it really was one of the highlights of our vacation! These private boats, with space for up to 10 Guests, set sail from one of the resort marinas and give you a front-row seat to either
Happily Ever After or
Luminous The Symphony of Us. A captain will take you for a leisurely cruise before getting into position for the show, and you'll enjoy an assortment of soft drinks and snacks just for you!
Renee, there is no cancellation list for the fireworks cruises. However, Guests wishing to cancel their reservation must do so at least 24 hours before their sailing, so I recommend checking back regularly to see if something opens up. Persistence often pays off when you're trying to snag a hard-to-get reservation! If you haven't had any luck before you arrive in Orlando, you can also check with the Cast Members at the marinas on the day you would like to cruise. For Magic Kingdom cruises, this is located at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, and for EPCOT sailings, visit the Bayside Marina located near
Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
I will be wishing on the Evening Star that you can pounce on a reservation and enjoy a moonlight cruise during your November trip! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and please come see us again anytime if we can help with other questions for your upcoming vacation or any other Disney adventures.
See Ya Real Soon!
