Hey there, Kristine, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question. I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer day than at
Walt Disney World Resort! But I would recommend that you stop periodically to find some cool spots to rest, or the Central Florida heat will have you doing what frozen things do in summer!
One of my favorite benefits of booking with the Walt Disney World Resort is the flexible change/cancellation policy! Vacation packages booked 31 or more days before the arrival date require a $200 reservation deposit which is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. According to the resort package
Terms and Conditions, if you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your arrival all amounts paid will be refunded. If you cancel inside the 30-day window, Disney assesses a $200 cancellation fee - meaning that you won’t receive the deposit back in this scenario. And if you cancel the day before your arrival, then the full price of your package is non-refundable.
I hope this helps, Kristine! If you have more questions as you plan,
come back and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me!
Until Next Time,
PG
