Hi Patricia!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your fantastic question about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.
Patricia, I’m so sorry you had to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort vacation last year. I’m glad to hear you are considering visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth in 2021! I think you’ll be thrilled with the many changes that have been put in place to protect our lovely Guests and Cast Members during
the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort.
I am happy to tell you that date-specific Walt Disney World theme park tickets purchased through June 6, 2020 with a valid use period beginning March 12, 2020 or later, or partially used multi-day theme park tickets with a usage window impacted by park closure, were automatically extended to be used by any date through September 26, 2021.
However, there is no rush, Patricia! If you are unable to visit by September 26, 2021, you may apply the whole value of your unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket for a future date. You can e-mail
ticket.usage@disneyworld.com for more information.
As a reminder, you will need a
Disney Park Pass system reservation in addition to your Walt Disney World Resort theme park admission ticket for the same park, on the same day, to enter the theme parks.
I truly hope you will consider visiting Walt Disney World Resort this year. I think you will be impressed with the many ways we are keeping our Guests and Cast Members safe during this unprecedented time. If you have any additional questions before, during, or after your vacation, please visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!
With a Sprinkling of Pixie Dust,
