How do I cancel an upcoming reservation at Vero Beach in February?

    Hiya Chris!

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.  I know how disappointing it can be when your plans change unexpectedly –– especially when those plans involve a vacation!  I'm sorry to hear you'll be canceling your upcoming trip to Disney's Vero Beach Resort, but I'm happy to help walk you through the process of canceling your reservation.

If your reservation was booked using Vacation Points, you can make changes –– including canceling a reservation –– directly from the Disney Vacation Club website.  Here's what you'll need to do:

    1. Log into your Disney Vacation Club Member account.
    2. Hover over the "My DVC" tab at the top of the page and select "My Dashboard" from the drop-down menu.
    3. Under the "My Vacation Plans" section, you will see your upcoming reservation listed.  Click the "View or Modify Details" button under this reservation.
    4. Under "Need to Cancel?" near the bottom of the page, select "Cancel Reservation" and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the cancellation.

To cancel an upcoming cash reservation, or if you would prefer to speak with a Cast Member to confirm your cancellation, you can give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800.

If you're interested in rescheduling your dates, modifications to your upcoming trip can also be made online.  After selecting "View or Modify Details" in the steps above, you'll see two buttons that say "Modify" next to your Resort information and registered Guests.  You can change the details of your reservation –– including dates, room type, and Guest information –– by clicking on the changes you'd like to make and following the onscreen prompts to confirm your updated reservation.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Chris.  Again, I'm so sorry to hear that your plans have changed, but I'm hopeful that you'll be on your way to planning your next Disney Vacation Club vacation soon!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
