How do I cancel two dinner reservations?

    Hello Paul welcome to planDisney!

I have been in your shoes!  There have been times when I needed to cancel or modify dinner reservations. Most of the time it's weeks away from a trip, but there was the time when I was in line for Soarin’ Around the World and I had to make a quick call because our travelling party made other plans.  I know, nice work pal!

Let’s get you to the place where you can cancel or modify your dinner reservations.  Go to your “My Disney Experience" account.  Hover over the My Disney Experience tab and select “My Plans and Tickets”.  Scroll down to your plans and you will see your current dinner reservations.  There will be a button to change the reservation and a button to cancel the reservation.  Select the cancel button and you should be all set.

Most table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World you have 2 hours before your reservation time without being charged a no-show fee. There are some character dining, dessert parties or dinner shows that still require 24 hours or even longer to cancel so it's always good to check the Disney Dining cancellation policies and the fine print on your confirmation email, so you know what to expect.  The Disney Help Center is a great resource for cancelling or modifying dinner reservations.

I usually have my favorite restaurants that I always reserve when we have a trip.  Beaches & Cream Soda Shop I’m looking at you!  But on my next trip my wife and daughters are making me step out of my comfort zone, and we are going to explore some of their favorites.  Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is on the schedule, and my daughter says that the chili-rubbed beef with roasted red pepper chimichurri will knock my Mickey Ears off.  Ok, I’m in!

Paul, I hope you have a magical stay and find dinner reservations that knock your Mickey Ears off!
