Hi Ruth!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so sorry to hEAR that you had to cancel your trip!
Tickets do generally have an expiration date. To check to see what the expiration date might have been for yours, link them in your My Disney Experience account. I like to check my ticket expiration dates in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Once you log into the mobile app, click on the three bars on the bottom right-hand side of the screen and then click on Tickets and Passes. It also might be helpful to review the
ticket usage guidelines.
Generally tickets are non-refundable but you can certainly
contact a Cast Member by phone to get some help with your specific tickets. If your tickets are non-refundable, they may be able to apply the value of the unused tickets to the purchase of new tickets.
If you are thinking about returning for another visit in the near future, check the prices of theme park tickets to get a sense of what that value might be on the days you want to visit. Check the
theme park ticket calendar to see what the ticket prices might be across different times of year.
Ruth, I am delighted to see that you are still planning. With T
he World's Most Magical Celebration set to launch on October 1, we are excited about all of the magical possibilities in store. Consider a
vacation package and reschedule that trip. Happy Planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
