Hey Howdy Hey Robert and welcome to planDisney!
I am so sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it to the Most Magical Place on Earth at the time you were originally planning. Let's review some of the details of your tickets as well as your options to see what we can come up with.
If you were planning a trip to visit Walt Disney World Resort and you purchased your theme park tickets without booking a
Disney Resorts Collections hotel accommodations, I am sorry to say that
these purchases are nonrefundable. What you can do, is to move the date of your tickets to another date in the future which will give you more options.
You can easily change the date of your tickets through your
My Disney Experience account. Once you log on, go to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. Look for the heading "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" which you will click on. Once there, you should see all of your tickets and the party members they are linked to. Under each ticket, you should also see a blue hyperlink to "Change Ticket". If you click on that link, you will be able to change the date of your ticket to a time in the future. All tickets are priced according to the date and season so you may see a charge from the difference between what you initially paid for your ticket to the new date.
All tickets do come with an expiration date which may limit your options when it comes to changing the dates online. Not to worry. With a
call to Disney, the Cast Members can usually apply what you paid for your tickets to a ticket with a later expiration date.
I know this might not be the best news with regards to your question about tickets, but hopefully, you are able to apply your tickets to a trip at a later time. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help.
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
