Greetings, Christine! Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for your great question. Let’s go through some ways to manage this issue using your Disney account, so you can get back to planning your next trip to the
Disneyland Resort!
If you’ve purchased a ticket, you can’t cancel it to get a refund, if that’s what you’re asking. I think you’re referring to canceling your reservation, which is allowed. You’ll still be able to use your ticket; you’ll just need to reschedule your park reservation.
Be sure to link your ticket to your Disney account by going to
Disneyland.com, hovering over “My Disneyland,” and clicking on “Link Tickets and Passes.” Enter the ticket number, and your ticket is officially linked. You can accomplish this on the
Disneyland Mobile App as well by clicking the (☰), “My Ticket & Passes,” then the blue (+). If you haven’t made a park reservation, you’ll be prompted to do so at this time. If you have already made a park reservation and want to change it, go back to the (☰) button and scroll down to “Future Plans.” Find the park reservation and press “modify reservation.” Follow the prompts to schedule a different date, and then you’re all set. You can also accomplish this on the website by hovering over “My Disneyland” and pressing “Theme Park Reservations.” From there, the prompts are similar to what’s described above.
Christine, I hope this helps! I also hope you have an amazing trip to the Disneyland Resort when you’re able to use your ticket. If you have any other planning questions, bring them to us at planDisney. I hope you have a magical day!
