Hi there, Kathleen,
If I understand correctly, you are concerned that you may not be able to visit on a date you had planned if you see that
theme park reservations currently appear to be
unavailable for that date. First of all, it may be worth checking whether you already have the reservations you were hoping for. That is because when you purchase tickets using the
Disneyland mobile app or
online, you will automatically book theme park reservations during the checkout process. To find out if you already have the required park reservations, you may take a look at the Future Plans screen of the mobile app. Or from the
Disneyland Resort website, find
My Plans under the My Disneyland menu. Be sure to log in using the same account used for the original ticket purchase.
If you don’t see an existing park reservation on your Future Plans, there are three options I can recommend. First, I suggest checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar regularly. When other Guests need to change their plans, their canceled park reservations may become available for you. Second, consider booking a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. That is because Guests staying on-site may take advantage of
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. Third, you may book park reservations for another available date for which your tickets are also valid.
Tony’s Tip: Although tickets cannot be refunded, they do retain their value as long as they are wholly unused. Even if an unused ticket expires, it can be
upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value. To upgrade an expired ticket, simply stop by a main entrance ticket booth. You may also reach out to a Cast Member with the
Tickets phone line.
I hope you can make it to The Happiest Place on Earth, Kathleen. If there is any more advice you’d like to request for your pals here at planDisney, I hope you’ll stop by again soon.
~Tony
