When can you cancel a resort room only booking and not pay a fee?

Hey Howdy Hey Maurice and welcome to planDisney!

So sorry to hear that you may need to cancel your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Life can throw a lot of curve balls at us with a lot of unexpected outcomes and sometimes we have to just go with it. Let's walk through how to go about canceling your trip if you need to.

With room-only reservations, you have 5 days prior to your date of arrival to cancel your reservation for a full refund on your trip. You might be able to cancel this reservation online through your My Disney Experience account. Once you log on, go to "My Plans" section. Scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section and on the far right you will either see a link to "Cancel Reservation" or a phone number for you to call if you need to cancel. If you do not see either, you can call Disney at (407) 939-1936 and a Cast Member will be able to help you through this process.

I hope things work out for you and I hope you are soon able to reschedule your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
