Hi Zach,
Welcome to planDisney! We are delighted to have you stopping by with a great question!
If you have a
My Disney Experience account, check My Plans, find your
resort hotel and/or
vacation package reservation and check to see if you have a link to cancel the reservation. If you do not see a link, you can cancel by calling 407-934-7639. I also suggest that you consider modifying that reservation if you already have alternative dates in mind.
When the Walt Disney World Resort temporarily closed earlier this year, we had an existing reservation for this fall of 2020. I was very happy to have that reservation because when they opened the
Disney Park Pass system, we were able to make our Park Pass reservations before the system opened for everyone. If there is any chance you will still visit, I would keep that reservation a little longer. Just be aware of the cancellation date, terms, and conditions to avoid any cancellation penalties. As an example, the
2020 Terms and Conditions outline the reservation and cancellation policies for this year.
If you are considering visiting at another time, be sure to check the
Special Offers. You may be able to find a better deal and, if you are like me, a better deal is great for the budget! Finally, keep checking the
operational updates as policies and procedures could change.
Zach, I do hope you will be able to visit soon. Sending a little pixie dust trusting that we will be able to welcome you back to a
world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
