Can I cancel reservations and then rebook disneyland?

Hey there, Catherine! Welcome to planDisney!

A trip to the Disneyland Resort is big on magic, experience, nostalgia, and planning! Luckily, Mickey and Minnie are fully aware that life can sometimes throw a bump in the road, and your Cinderella carriage may need to make an unexpected stop on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth. The good news is that if you find yourself needing to change your plans, you can absolutely cancel and rebook your reservation

One thing to remember is that reservations are subject to availability. Before you jump to cancel, I would give the theme park reservation calendar a peek to make sure your new date is available. If for some reason it's booked, just roll up your sleeves and grab a little faith, trust, and ... you guessed it, pixie dust! The calendar is updated as Guests cancel and rebook reservations, and there are plenty that are making changes to their plans just like you. If you continue to check and refresh, reservations may (and often do!) pop up!

Once your date is available, simply navigate to the "Parks & Tickets" tab on the Disneyland website and choose "Ticket & Reservation Details". You can also access this page through the app by tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and selecting "Make a Park Reservation". Choose, "View My Park Reservations", scroll to the date you would like to change and select "Cancel Reservation". Follow the prompts from here and once the cancellation is confirmed, you will be able to make a new reservation!

I sure hope you're making your way to the Disneyland Resort this summer, Catherine! With the Nighttime Spectaculars back in full swing, the parks are alive with magic from day to night! While fan-favorites Fantasmic! and World of Color are must-sees, if you have to choose, I would make plans to catch the Main Street Electrical Parade and Disneyland Forever fireworks! These two are back for a limited time and are oh-so-special! If you stake out a spot for the first parade along Main Street, U.S.A., you'll also get a great view of those fireworks. A Disney two-for-one! The new finale float for the Main Street Electrical Parade will leave you grinning from EAR to EAR!

Catherine, come back to see us real soon if you have any more questions in your planning! We are always here for you at planDisney.

    Keep wishing on those stars!
