Hi Beth,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with a question!
Although I understand that plans change, I am sad that you are having to cancel reservations with the Walt Disney World Resort. If you are trying to cancel a vacation package, that package should have been linked in your
My Disney Experience account. If it was not linked, you could
link it now and then log in to cancel it online. Once logged in, you would just need to scroll down to find the reservation in My Plans and then click on Cancel Reservation. If you cannot link your reservation in My Disney Experience, you can
contact a Cast Member by phone to cancel that reservation.
If you are trying to cancel a
Disney Park Pass system reservation, log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, and then find the park pass reservations. Then click on View Details for each park pass that you wish to cancel. From there, you should see an option to cancel the park pass. If you are trying to cancel a park pass reservation to make a new one, be sure to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar.
If you have an advanced dining reservation that you need to cancel, that can also be canceled in My Disney Experience. Just log into your account, click on My Plans, and find the dining reservation you wish to cancel. Beside the reservation, there should be a link to Change Reservation and another link to Cancel Reservation.
Beth, if you are canceling a vacation package or resort reservation, pay attention to any cancelation penalties that may be imposed. Remember also that if you booked a vacation package reservation through a third-party vendor or site, you would need to cancel with that vendor or site. I do hope you are able to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon. If you need to plan a trip for another time of year, keep your eye on the
Special Offers to see what discounts might be applicable during your new dates. We are so excited to welcome you to the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
