Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Pam. I'm so glad you stopped by and I'm so happy to hear you're planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation this Spring. Magic will be in full bloom for your visit!
You ask an excellent question. The cancellation of a
Theme Park Reservation will not automatically cancel other reservations for that day. If you choose to cancel a Theme Park Reservation, I recommend
canceling the dining reservations or experiences you have scheduled in that theme park for that date immediately afterward to avoid any cancellation fees. I once forgot to cancel a dining reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant and I was so mad at myself when I realized I had been charged for not showing up!
All your reservations can be conveniently managed on
My Disney Experience. To cancel a Theme Park Reservation, log in to your My Disney Experience account and scroll down the page that says "Pam's Plans and Tickets." Each Theme Park Reservation you have made will be listed under daily plans. Find the one you want to cancel and click the "View Details" box to the right of the Disney Park Pass listing. When you click on that box, you'll see a blue link that says, "Cancel This Reservation." If you are hoping to schedule a Theme Park Reservation for a different park that day, I recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before canceling. To cancel a dining reservation online, simply select "Cancel Reservation."
Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It's magic at your fingertips! You can manage all your vacation reservations and plans on the app just like you can online. Isn't that cool?
I hope this was helpful, Pam. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
Ashley
