Hey there and welcome to planDisney, Carlos. We're so glad you're here and shared this question with us.
I really hope you won't have to cancel your upcoming reservation to visit the Disneyland Resort. However, if you need to and qualify for a refund, the
refund will be deposited back to your
Disney Gift Card if that was your original form of payment. After calling to check, I was told that it can take up to 24-48 business hours for the balance to update and reflect the refund.
If you booked a
Disneyland Vacation Package and cancel 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, you will receive a refund for the amounts paid (minus cancellation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs and other amounts owed). For cancellations made 5 days to 29 days prior to your arrival date, amounts paid (minus a cancellation fee of $200 per package and minus any cancellation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs and other amounts owed) will be refunded. For cancellations made 4 days or less prior to your arrival date, the full price of the package (including Disneyland Resort admission tickets and all other components of the package) is non-refundable. I strongly recommend double-checking the terms and conditions and cancellation policies for your vacation package.
If you do need to cancel, I hope that you're able to find another time to visit soon. It's a very special year at the Happiest Place on Earth with the
Disney100 Celebration festivities underway. I especially love both of the two new nighttime spectaculars. I really hope that you will be able to reschedule your visit to experience both of these.
Carlos, I hope this has been helpful, if you think of any other questions, please come back to visit us. Have a magical day!
Michelle
