Hi Kyle! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you came to us with your question as I know a lot of Guests are making and changing plans in these current times. I see that you would be flying in from Washington, so you'll definitely want to find a time when you can visit and fully enjoy the magic! The very good news is that there is a little bit of pixie dust in each and every ticket that never truly expires. Now, let's see what we can find out and get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Let me walk you through where you can find the expiration date. If you purchased a single-day or multi-day ticket, you can take a look at the email confirmation you received and it should be listed there under your ticket's terms and conditions. Alternatively, if you have linked your ticket to your
My Disneyland account or on the
Disneyland Mobile App, navigate to "Tickets and Passes" and it should be there for you just under your ticket's bar code. Currently, single-day tickets are valid through December 30, 2023 and multi-day tickets through January 12, 2024, but please note this is dependent on when tickets were purchased which may differ for the tickets you are holding. If you are still unable to find the expiration date, our Cast Members in
Guest Services would be happy to help you!
If you happen to discover that your tickets have expired, we'll just need to dip into that pixie dust! The value of an expired, unused ticket can be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket that is of equal or greater value. The lovely Guest Services team will also be happy to help you in getting a new set of tickets!
I'm so happy to see that it sounds like you already know that you will need
theme park reservations in addition to valid theme park tickets. If you are holding a single-day ticket, you may be aware that there is tiered pricing depending on the day and season. You are able to make reservations for dates that are in the same pricing tier or lower than your original ticket. If you happen to choose a date in a higher tier - you guessed it, our Guest Services team will be happy to assist you in upgrading your tickets.
Ok, now that we've got your tickets all squared away, let's take a spin through the Haunted Mansion to take a peek into Madame Leota's crystal ball to see what is in store for the Disneyland Resort! If you are a foodie, you won't want to miss
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival from March 4 - April 26, 2022. Experience all the tastes and sips that California has to offer and even catch a culinary demonstration or two from Disney chefs! If you love all the nostalgia of classic Disneyland, this spring will see the grand return (and 50th anniversary!) of the Main Street Electrical Parade! Or if a Disney day is not complete without a nighttime spectacular, be on the lookout for Fantasmic! and World of Color to return to the parks in the next few months!
Kyle, magic awaits! I hope you found this helpful in your planning, and if anything else pops up, please feel free to reach back out to us. We are always here at
planDisney!
Keep wishing on those stars,
Tara
