Hey there, Annette!
Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney, where we love to share our personal favorite suggestions for making the most of your Disney vacation.
While I'm sorry to hear you're thinking about canceling your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I can share that there are some flexible options to help you in your decision making. The current cancellation policies are available for review in the Terms and Conditions information when you make your booking.
My suggestion is to call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 934-7639 to discuss your best options for your plans.
If you have a
vacation package and cancel your package 31 days or more before your arrival, you can receive a refund, and the refund would exclude any third-party fees. If you cancel your vacation package between two days and 29 days before your arrival, you can receive a refund, though there would be a $200 cancellation fee, and the refund would exclude any third-party fees. If you cancel 1 day or less before your arrival, the vacation package is nonrefundable.
If you have a
room-only reservation, you must cancel your reservation at least 5 days before your arrival to receive a refund.
If the reservation you're considering cancelling is a theme park reservation that you made through the
Disney Park Pass system, you can cancel that reservation through the My Plans area of your
My Disney Experience account.
Annette, here's hoping you get to enjoy a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation real soon! When you get back to planning your visit, be sure to come back and ask us here at planDisney for recommendations on all there is to see, do, and enjoy.
Jerry
