Hiya Louige,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m sorry that your vacation was impacted by the Hurricane, but glad that you and your family were safe. I know that Florida is technically the Sunshine State, but the “rain, rain, rain” can certainly come “down, down, down” here.
Thank you for your question about your Theme Park ticket. I must admit that I had to borrow Winnie the Pooh’s thinking spot for this, but luckily one of the friendly Cast Members was able to help me out. Louige, if your ticket was partially used (as in, you started your vacation, and then the hurricane closure canceled your remaining days), then your next step is simple. Head to the
My Disney Experience Mobile app, and you should see that your ticket expiration dates have been extended until September 30th of next year. All you would need to do is visit before then, and you are good to go. If you didn’t even get a chance to use your Theme Park tickets, then your next step is to call a Cast Member at the
Existing Tickets line. They will then be able to assist you in applying the credit of that ticket towards a future date. Please note that since the theme park ticket prices for Walt Disney World Resort are determined by the date, you may have to pay the difference if the new ticket fare is higher than what you originally paid.
I hope this was helpful and that you are able to get everything figured out!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
