Hi, how can I cancel a reservation for California adventure and pay the difference for a different date?

Welcome to planDisney, Maria. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us.

The pandemic has sure affected park operations at the Disneyland Resort. In the past, Guests could easily make changes at the Main Entrance ticket booths such as upgrading to Park Hopper or adding extra magical days to their visit. However, since Guests now need to make park reservations for entry in advance, it’s definitely difficult to be spontaneous during the initial phased reopening period.

While you can conveniently cancel your current park reservation on Disneyland.com or on your Disneyland mobile app, to pay the difference for another date will require you to contact Disneyland Resort Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. While there may be a slight wait time, a friendly Cast Member will gladly assist you to change or upgrade your tickets. We appreciate your patience as Cast Members are working diligently to provide the best experience to all Guests. You’ll be on your merry way to the Disneyland Resort theme parks in no time!

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
