How do I cancel a reservation?

Hi there, Linda! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to see us! I am sorry to hear that you will need to cancel your next Disney vacation. However, it is straightforward to do, and your cancellation gets you closer to your next trip!

The way to do this is to call Disney Reservations over the phone and let them know that you need to cancel your trip. Most of the time, reservations can be canceled without penalty if done so at least 30 days before your arrival. However, if it is closer to the date, cancellation fees may apply. See the Walt Disney World website for further details.
