Hello there, Laura!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Sometimes as much as we can "Be Prepared," plans can go up in smoke. I've asked my "Friends on the Other Side," but the answer may not be the one we'd like to hear.
The current
Walt Disney World Resort policy is that theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. This means that you will not be able to get a refund on your purchased tickets. However, "Trust In Me," not all hope is lost!
You can always change the date or modify the selected theme park for unused theme park tickets. As long as the ticket has not expired, you can either make this change on your own on your
My Disney Experience account or
call Guest Relations at the phone number listed on this web page. When the change is made, you may be asked to pay the difference between the cost of your new and old selected dates.
Laura, as you can see, there are no "Poor Unfortunate Souls" at the
Most Magical Place on Earth. Although plans fall through, there are still ways to eventually experience the magic. Feel free to
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any further questions.
Magic always,
LeAndra
