Hi there, Saleema! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your Walt Disney World Resort question. I'm thrilled to assist!
While no one wants to cancel a trip to the Most Magical Place On Earth, life happens. The current
Walt Disney World Resort cancellation and refund policy states tickets and packages are nontransferable and nonrefundable. However, while you cannot cancel or get a refund for tickets or packages, you may be able to change the date of your unused tickets. I have been in this situation Saleema and I was able change the date and had the option to modify the selected theme park for my unused theme park tickets. As long as your tickets have not expired, you can either make this change on your own in your
My Disney Experience account or by contacting
Guest relations.
I found making the change via the app quick and easy:
- Open the app then tap the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap My Tickets & Passes.
- Select the ticket you would like to modify then tap "Change Ticket."
Follow the prompts to change your park date by selecting the start date of your new ticket. Please note, you may be asked to pay the difference between the cost of your new and old selected ticket dates.
Saleema, I hope you find this information helpful. Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a Magical Day!
Kay
