How do I cancel park tickets, due to an emergency?

Hi there, Jill. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

I’m sorry to hear you’re unable to visit the Happiest Place on Earth as you originally planned. Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are non-refundable; however, please rest assured that you can reschedule your visit for a later date. Even if you cancel your theme park reservations, your tickets remain valid until their expiration date.

You can cancel and make new park reservations conveniently on your Disneyland mobile app by logging into your Disney account. Let me briefly walk you through how to cancel a park reservation on the Disneyland mobile app:
On the home page of the app, you’ll see “Park Reservations” with your current visit information listed.
Click on “Manage or Make Reservations>”
Under “My Theme Park Reservations”, click on “Cancel Reservation”.
Go ahead and follow the prompts to make the necessary cancellations for your upcoming trip.

Once you’re done with this step, you can then make theme park reservations for new dates. You’ll then receive a confirmation email with new QR codes. I hope this information is helpful for you. As you continue to plan your upcoming vacation, please don’t hesitate to visit us again on planDisney. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
