Welcome back to planDisney, Lisa!
Aw, I see that you are set to arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth on Valentines Day. How sweet!
On the day you arrive for your vacation in
Walt Disney World, it's a great idea to have a park reservation in the
Disney Park Pass system. If things go according to your plans, that will enable you to visit a park and experience the magic of Disney right away.
However, should plans change--a delayed flight, for example--you can easily cancel your park reservation without any issues. We've had to do just that when our plans changed for a long weekend in Walt Disney World; I simply opened up the
My Disney Experience mobile app and cancelled our Disney Park Pass system reservations for our arrival day in
Magic Kingdom Park. There is no charge for the reservation, so there is no penalty for cancelling. However, other Guests will be very appreciative that you cancelled reservations that you can no longer use because they may be looking for just that reservation for themselves. When I have to cancel plans, I like to think I'm sprinkling pixie dust on someone else's vacation by making something available they may not have been able to experience otherwise. :-)
As you plan your practically perfect in every way visit, Lisa, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
