I’m bummed to hear you would like to cancel your visit to
Walt Disney World. But, hopefully, you’ll be rescheduling to visit sometime in the new future. There is so much to enjoy throughout the parks these days, like the new attractions
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in
EPCOT. I have to say, both attractions have quickly shot up to the very top of my must-do list, so I do hope you get a chance to check them out soon! But, in the meantime, let’s get to your question.
Canceling your vacation package through your
My Disney Experience account is actually quite easy. You’ll just want to make sure to cancel at least 30 days before your scheduled check-in date to avoid any penalties. Modifications made 29-2 days from check-in will require a $50 modification charge, and complete cancellations in this time frame would incur a $200 cancellation fee. Changes cannot be made less than two days from your check-in date, and any amounts paid will be forfeited should you choose to cancel.
When you’re ready to process your cancellation, simply log into your My Disney Experience account by clicking on the logo in the upper right corner. Once logged in, toggle over that same logo and select “My Plans” from the drop-down menu. Next, scroll down until you see your vacation plans, and click on the blue “Cancel Reservation” link located next to your confirmation number. Then, simply follow the prompts to complete your cancellation, and you’re all set!
