Howdy Megan. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today. I’m so happy to be able to help you.
In just a few short weeks, you will be off on your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Your adventure will be here before you know it, so let's get your plans sorted out, so you can get back to getting pumped up for your incredible vacation!
Since it sounds like you have booked a vacation package, both the
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation and
theme park tickets will be canceled, as they were purchased as a part of a package deal. So, you would need to cancel everything together and purchase new theme park tickets separately. Also, keep in mind that if you plan to cancel your existing package, you will need to do so at least 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in date. Otherwise, you are subject to a $200 penalty per room (though that amount is subject to change).
Once you have those purchased, you’ll want to make sure to make new
Park Pass Reservations for the date of your visit. I took a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and it does look as though all of the parks are still available for the dates of your visit. However, they do get booked up quickly, so I would recommend taking care of this as soon as possible to make sure you can visit all of the parks on your bucket list.
However, I am happy to share that even if you cancel your vacation package, your
Advanced Dining Reservations will remain valid in your My Disney Experience account. So, no need to worry about rebooking new dining reservations for your stay. Great news, right?!
I do hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation, Megan! If you have any questions before you take off or even once you have arrived, please don't hesitate to reach back out! We here at planDisney just love to help our fellow guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
See you real soon!
