If i cancel my disneyland reservation, can i reserve another date for an earlier date?

    Hi Natalie, welcome to planDisney!

The great thing about Disneyland Resort theme park reservations is that Guests can easily make changes themselves from within their Disneyland Resort account. You can certainly cancel your current reservation and book another reservation for an earlier date, however, this will depend if there is any reservation availability on your desired date. Before you cancel your current reservation, please take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to see if there is any availability on your desired date!

If you by chance do find another available date that you would like to book, you will first have to cancel your current reservation. To do this, you'll need to log in to your Disneyland Resort account, select the "My Disneyland" link, and then click the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link. Next, select the reservation you wish to cancel and click "Cancel Reservation". Once canceled, you're free to go ahead and book your new reservation!

BUT a word of caution. Even if a reservation becomes available, there is a chance that the reservation will get booked by the time you cancel your current reservation and try to book a new one. This has happened before to Guests, so there is a risk. AND, once you cancel your current reservation, there is a chance that another Guest might book the reservation you cancel, leaving you with no reservations at all.

But I do genuinely hope you’re able to find the best date that works for you to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon!
