Hi there, Sheri! Welcome to planDisney! I know putting a pause on the magic can be less than pixie-dusted, so I'm happy to see you have rescheduled your trip for next month! I'd love to help you sort out all your Disneyland magi-stics!
You should be able to reschedule those
theme park reservations with no issues provided there is availability and your
theme park tickets are still valid. Once reservations are canceled, they no longer show up in your account which is likely why you aren't seeing them. Let's start with your tickets! If you open up your
Disneyland Mobile App and head to "Tickets and Passes" from the hamburger menu in the bottom right-hand corner, you will see any active theme park tickets linked to your account. Underneath the barcode, you'll note the expiration date of those tickets as well, just something to keep in mind. If you do not see any theme park tickets here, it's possible they have expired, and I would recommend calling
Guest Services to double-check. They will be able to take a look at your account. Alternatively, you could pull up your ticket purchase confirmation from your email inbox with a quick search for "Disneyland Confirmation". The expiration date should be listed there as well. If you find yourself with an expired ticket, I'm here to tell you that the magic never fully runs out! You can apply the value to the purchase of a new ticket, which the Cast Members in Guest Services would be able to help you with as well!
Once you've got your tickets sorted, let's head over to theme park reservations. If you're still in the app, tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "
Make a Park Reservation". You should simply be able to follow the prompts from here. The system will allow you to select any valid tickets linked to your account so that you can make reservations for your full party all at once. One thing to note here is that single-day tickets are sold on tiered pricing. If you are trying to book a reservation for a ticket that falls into a higher tier than the one you are holding, the date will show in gray for you, and you'll need to upgrade to the higher tier to access the reservations. Currently, upgrading is only done in person at the Main Entrance Gates, but I can see that's likely not possible for you up there in Canada. I would speak to Guest Services to see if any options might be open to you in this instance. I took a look and it seems like
January 18th should be open for all tiered tickets, so you should be in the clear!
If you've secured your reservations but need to take a look at them or cancel and reschedule, head back into your Disneyland Mobile App, tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and select "My Future Plans". Here you will find all upcoming theme park reservations as well as any dining and Enchanted Extras you've booked!
While you're getting excited about your trip, I highly recommend checking out the
planDisney podcast! There are episodes on resorts, technology, and even a Disney-inspired gift guide for the holidays. I always find myself taking notes from the tips and tricks my fellow panelists are giving out!
Sheri, I hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
