If I cancel my Disney reservation for Fri the 24th, how long do I have before my tickets expire?

Hey there! Hi there! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, Janel! Thanks so much for stopping by to ask this great question. I'm happy to help!

I know that sometimes plans change and the magic will be waiting if you need to change the date of your visit. The expiration date of your theme park ticket depends on when you purchased it and what type of ticket you purchased. For example, if you purchase a one-day ticket today through the Disneyland website or the Disneyland Mobile App is valid now through December 30, 2024. If you purchased a multi-day ticket today through the Disneyland website or the Disneyland Mobile App, it would expire within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2025, whichever occurs first. If your theme park ticket does happen to expire and it is unused, it may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.

When you have decided on a new date to visit The Happiest Place on Earth, I suggest checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the date you would like to visit is available. If it is available, it is best to make your theme park reservation as soon as possible since availability is subject to change and is not guaranteed.

If you have more planning questions about visiting the Disneyland Resort, please stop by planDisney again. You've got a friend in us and we would love to help!

We hope to see ya real soon!
    Smiles,
