Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question. My family likes to plan for our meals during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations just as much as we like to plan which attractions to ride!
There are so many amazing restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort; it's important to make
Advance Dining Reservations whenever possible. Since you need to give a credit card number to hold the reservation, it's good to know what to do in case you need to cancel your reservation! Each restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort has its own
cancellation policy. When you finalize your reservation for a particular restaurant, I recommend double-checking what that restaurant's cancellation policy is. If you've made the reservation online, you'll find the cancellation policy in your email confirmation as well as at the time of booking. You can cancel an upcoming dining reservation online or by calling (407) 939-3463.
Things do come up requiring Guests to change their plans. When I've needed to cancel my family's advance dining reservations, I've done so at least 24 hours in advance and have had no late fees charged to the credit card on file that was holding the reservation.
