how do I cancel a dining reservation?

Hey there, Robert. Welcome to planDisney

Canceling a Walt Disney World dining reservation is no trouble at all. Let's get started!

    1. Log in to your MyDisneyExperince account
    2. Scroll down until you see the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section
    3. Look for the dining reservation under this section
    4. Once you've found your dining reservations you'll select the option to "View Details"
    5. This will bring you to a new page where you should see the option to "Modify Reservation" or "Cancel Reservation" and you'll want to select the cancel option
    6. You should be taken to a confirmation page of the cancellation and you're all set
It's as easy as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!

You can also cancel your existing dining reservation by calling 407-WDW-CNCL and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you. However, wait times can be long if you don't call first thing in the morning so I would highly recommend trying to do this online yourself if possible.

Different restaurants at Walt Disney World do have certain cancelations policies. However, if you are canceling at least the day before a reservation, you will be fine. Some restaurants do charge a no-show fee of $10.00 per person if canceled last minute or a no-show situation occurs.

I hope this helps assist you with your cancelation, Robert. If you have other questions about this or anything else, stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
