Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do! There are so many restaurants around the theme parks and
Disney Resort hotels that are my favorites, so it's hard to choose just where we want to eat when we visit and we often change up our plans multiple times leading up to vacation.
There are a few ways you can cancel a
Disney dining reservation. The first is to
call Disney Dining and speak to a friendly Cast Member who can cancel it for you. The second option is to do it online from your computer. Simply log in to your My Disney Experience account to
view your plans. Scroll through your reservations until you find the one you want to cancel. You have the option to change or cancel from this screen. If you want to get rid of your reservation, click on "Cancel Reservation" and follow the prompts. If you are looking to change your reservation to a different date or time for the same restaurant, click on "Change Reservation" and follow those prompts. You will get a cancellation or change confirmation via email when you are done. The last option is to cancel through the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, which I find is the easiest way. If you have the app downloaded on your phone, open it and click on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right and then click on "Future Plans". You will have the option to either "Change" or "Modify" your reservation from there.
Most Walt Disney World restaurants have a 2 hour cancellation policy, meaning there is no penalty for canceling if done so more than 2 hours before your reservation time, so you have plenty of time to decide if you're not quite sure if you want to cancel just yet.
