Ahoy there, Sarina!
Welcome aboard planDisney! If I’m reading this right, you and your crew are boarding your Disney cruise tomorrow—talk about a countdown worthy of a big drumroll from Mickey himself! I’m sure the excitement is building as you get ready to hear that iconic “Welcome aboard!” and step into vacation mode.
When it comes to canceling activities booked prior to embarkation day, Disney generally allows changes up to three days before departure through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Since you’re already on the home stretch, your best bet will be to stop by Guest Services once you’re onboard. While nothing is guaranteed, I’ve found that if an activity is scheduled for embarkation day,
Guest Services will often do their best to help cancel it without a cancellation fee. If the activity you’re hoping to cancel is a
Port Adventure or a
treatment at Senses Spa, they may ask you to visit the
Port Adventures Desk or the spa directly to take care of it.
From my own sailing experience, I’ve learned that once you’re onboard, availability can change quickly as other Guests adjust their plans—sometimes opening up experiences that were previously full. That’s why I always recommend opening the Navigator app as soon as you arrive at the cruise terminal and connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi. It’s not uncommon to see highly sought-after experiences like
Royal Gathering or even a
brunch at Palo pop back up as other Guests adjust their plans.
I hope this helps as you fine-tune your plans and get ready to sail away. No matter how your schedule shapes up, you’re about to embark on an adventure filled with unforgettable moments, incredible service, and just a little pixie dust along the way.
Sea ya real soon as the adventure continues into a bright new year,
Dustin
