Can you cancel your annual passes? Understand that the fees paid already are non refundable.

    Hiya Nykky,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by and bringing your question.

I’m sorry to hear that you are interested in canceling your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass. I know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for, and I wish I had magical news for you. I know that coming to this decision was not made lightly. As you mentioned, the money you have already spent towards your annual pass is non-refundable, and unfortunately, once purchased, Annual passes cannot be canceled. If you haven’t yet activated your Annual Pass, Nykky, you can wait until up to one year after your purchase to do so. This is perfect if your desire to cancel is tied to an inability to take full advantage of your Annual Pass benefits for a while. We did this during one of our renewal windows because we knew we wouldn’t be able to visit for a bit, but we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to purchase Annual Passes.

I hope this was helpful, Nykky. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.

Happy Planning, and Have a Magical Day,

    Ashley F.

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Texas

Hey Y'all! I’m Ashley and I live in Texas. My family and I love trying out the yummy snacks (DOLE Whip anyone!) and taking full advantage of our resort days. When we are not piloting the Millennium Falcon, exploring Kilimanjaro Safaris, or watching fireworks, you can find me planning our next adventure to Walt Disney World! I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
