Ahoy, and welcome back to planDisney, Carinne! So glad to see you cruise by with your questions about my favorite Disney Destinations. (And by "favorite" I mean all of them).
Although we all dream about our trips with smooth sailing, I appreciate you looking into the Vacation Protection Plan just in case. For my own bit of coverage, I checked with
Disney Cruise Line Cast Members to make sure I got the best information for you. They shared that Canadian Guests can add the Vacation Protection Plan to a Disney Cruise if your cruise was booked in US dollars and you have not passed your paid-in-full date. With a cruise in November, you still have time, but for awareness that paid-in-full date is 120 days before you set sail.
If you booked your cruise with a travel agent, you can contact them to add this to your reservation. If you managed the reservation on your own, you should be able to do this online. Under "Already Booked," select "My Reservations." You will be prompted to log into your Walt Disney World account. Once in, look for the section on "Vacation Protection Plan" for information on how to add this to your reservation. If you have any challenges you can
call Disney Cruise Line and ask for assistance.
As I shared, I love all Disney Destinations! If you were to ask me what I love most about Disney Cruise Line, well, the conversation may take an hour and I would still have things to share. But one of the many items on the list would be the food. I am a huge fan of
rotational dining and the main dining rooms. I also enjoy breakfasts in these dining rooms, especially on days at sea when I am not headed out for a
Port Adventure. Did you know there are also special treats at
Cove Cafe? When they have the rice crispy treats on a stick, I may stop by more than once. And my kids have recently discovered the joy of
Room Service. I'm not sure if it's the warm cookies, feeling luxurious with them being delivered, or a bit of both. Although it is not on the room service menu, if you ask for a Premium Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar, they always seem to have them.
You have so much awaiting you aboard Disney Cruise Line! Wishing you magical days at sea. Please come back to
planDisney with any other questions. We are here to help make your planning a breeze.
Bon Voyage!
