    Hi Sherri!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

You are going to be there during a busy time, especially if you are going into the parks on July 4th.  I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com. for some strategies on how to handle the crowds. They are famous in the Disney fan community for their touring plans.  As an engineer, I am a huge fan of their work.

Be sure to make Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs).  ADRs can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. They are generally needed if you want to dine at any of the Table Service (full service) restaurants at Walt Disney World.

By the way, I recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information and tips without being overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good feel of everything there is to do at Walt Disney World.

Our responses are limited in length, but I hope this helps to get you started.  Please write back and I would be happy to help.  You can send questions directly to me!
